This picture was taken while we were holding before the start of out act at the Chicago Air & Water Show back in the late 1990’s.
Please notice what once was the jewel of the Chicago lakefront…Meigs Field. It served Chicago from 1948 through March of 2003 when it was bulldozed by the then Mayor Daley. It sure would be nice to have a place to land if you had engine troubles…just saying.
